How to use Clipreel for Facebook

  1. 01

    Copy the video link

From the Facebook app, tap the share icon on the video and choose Copy Link. On the web, copy the address bar URL for a Watch, Reel, or video post.

  2. 02

    Paste it above

Drop the link into the Video link field, or tap the clipboard icon to paste in one tap.

  3. 03

    Pick a quality

HD is offered when Facebook stored a higher-bitrate copy. SD is the smaller fallback, available whenever a video exists at all.

  4. 04

    Download

Tap Download — the file saves straight to your device, no extra tab, no login.

Frequently asked

Why did fetching fail?+

Facebook's page markup changes often, and a lot of video is login-walled — private groups, some Reels, and age-restricted posts won't resolve here, since this tool never signs in on your behalf.

What's the difference between HD and SD?+

HD is Facebook's higher-bitrate original, when it stored one. SD is the standard compressed copy — offered on basically every public video, even when HD isn't available.

Do I need to install anything or log in?+

No. Paste a link and fetch — nothing to sign in to, nothing to configure.

Can I use this for any video I want?+

Only download clips you own or have permission to reuse. This fetches what's publicly attached to a post; it doesn't grant any rights beyond what the poster and Facebook's terms already allow.
